The real colour of English Rose is somewhere between the two pictures.. it’s definitely not a brick red: it’s more of a berry and much cooler, but not as bright as the flash picture. bright sunset gradient nails
I tried a gradient nail look with Revlon Mad About Mango, Essie Flirt, and Rimmel English Rose. The result is waaaay brighter than I expected but I kind of like it and it reminded me of a sunset. I think I picked shades that were too close to each other, because the gradient effect is really subtle unless under bright light. Even under flash it’s hard to see Flirt and English Rose as two...

Do you live in Vancouver? If so, you need Daiso in your life. It has everything, and usually for only $2. Almost all of my makeup organization stuff is from Daiso.
I bought a nail polish remover pump bottle from Daiso recently—you just press down on the top of the bottle with a cotton pad and it dispenses a perfect amount of nail polish remover.
