Although I love the wax end of my Quo 3 in 1 brow pencil (it’s so good at taming and keeping in place my brows), lately when I use it the skin under my eyebrows later becomes red and angry-looking. There is nothing else to indicate irritation (bumps, itchiness, etc) other than this redness. Maybe I’ve just had the pencil for too long and I need to grab a new one?
Andy and I went to a sale for 2010 Olympic merchandise. A guy working there complimented me on my “eyeliner” (I’m pretty sure he meant my green UD Graffiti shadow, but I just said thanks.)

I know I love my bronzes and coppers. Promise they will be MIA in the next one. After taking close-up pictures of my eyes for the last couple weeks, I realized my brows are in pretty bad shape, so I cleaned them up a bit. I filled in my brows a bit this time, which I don’t usually do; I’m not used to it so when I do it, it feels like it looks too dark.

I’m rather pleased with today’s photo of the day. I’m figuring out the places in my house with the best lighting and where to stand to best use it. That plus some auto tone has helped today’s pictures look less washed out. I took these pictures on a nice sunny day, but we’re back to bullshit weather here in Vancouver again.
I think I’ve realized that my foundation is a touch too dark for me. After all, I did buy it for my summer skin tone.
Lately I have been sort of lazy and using pencil eyeliner rather than Fluidline for a softer, more natural look. So after a long hiatus, I whipped out my Blacktrack for this look and omg I am in love all over again. So smooth and inky black <3

I volunteered at my university’s open house today, so I kept my makeup a bit toned down and stuck to neutral eyeshadows. The natural sunlight makes the picture look a bit washed out D: but on the advice of a friend, I decided not to alter it by adding more saturation for colour.
