Ahhh I haven’t done a Wishlist Wednesday in so long. This is mostly because what started as a fun way to share products I was seriously lusting after became a chore of having to look for stuff to post on Wishlist Wednesday. So instead of doing WW weekly, I’m just going to post it whenever I find something super awesome.
Case in point: wrap watches! I spotted this wrap watch from La Mer on Urban Outfitters and promptly pinned it to my style board on Pinterest. It got 78 repins (unheard of for me), so I guess this means I’m not the only one loving it! There’s just something pretty and chic about the extra long strap and studs. La Mer has quite a few wrap watch styles but this design is probably my favourite, with the silver studded Bali coming in close second (I have mixed feelings about brown+silver in general).

I have been using a flat foundation brush for the last few years to apply liquid foundation, but lately I’m feeling that using a cosmetic wedge/sponge gives me slightly better results for a more natural and flawless finish. But using disposable wedges feels a bit wasteful, which brings me to today’s Wishlist Wednesday item…

(Or equivalent)
I’ve been hearing about this reusable egg-shaped sponge for a while and I’m finally ready to jump on the bandwagon. There are a few dupes that I hear are comparable—Sonia Kashuk is the most popular, but I’ve heard London Drugs also has a good dupe for $9.99 CAD (which I’m highly tempted to check out asap)

Taj Sunset is Escada’s current limited edition offering for summer 2011, and you know I’m a sucker for fruity florals. Since I despise all things coconut, I wasn’t sure I’d like its coconut cream base but I tried it on at Ulta and didn’t pick up on it at all. I gotta say that I really like it.
It’s fun, delicious (not cloying!) and perfect for summer.
Top notes: mango, blood orange, nectarine
Middle notes: lotus, water lily, raspberry, star apple
Base notes: musk, coconut cream, sandalwood

Simple but totally hot :3 This dress also comes in black and blue, but this shade is my favourite.
PS I am still searching for the perfect Springy/Summery dress but considering the current weather conditions (10-20mm of rain, high of 15°C), I got time.

I fell for the T-strap style and weaving detail of these Rocket Dog heels right away when I saw them at Gia on Robson. So perfect for Spring—I’m trying to wait to see which will happen first: these shoes go on sale or the rain stops, but I’m definitely getting them. I’ve already paired these in my head with a short, bouncy skirt :>

Totally different from the last dress but I would rock them both. Seeing the print up close is a must.

Okay so I am just barely making it in as it is no longer Wednesday anywhere except on the west coast (sorry), but here we go!
I spied some new goodies from Hard Candy yesterday at Wal-Mart~~ One of the products that caught my eye was Fox in a Box. With its box packaging and included flat rectangular blush, it immediately drew comparisons of Benefit’s boxed blushes for me. The three blushes are actually quads, with four shades in each box, while the two bronzers are duos. I’m a big fan of this type of packaging where multiple shades can be swept up together with a brush and become one shade, yet you could also use the shades individually.
FYI just from checking them out in person, the included brush seems rather cheap, coarse, and not very dense, unlike the brushes that come with the Benefit blushes.
Considering I wouldn’t stfu about how lovely Blush Crush in Living Doll is, I really have high hopes for these blushes. I’ve really got my eye on the two pinker shades, Hot Flash (pictured) and Spicy & Sweet.

Ugh, is it too late to talk super moisturizing skin care? Maybe it’s because I was all covered up during the middle of winter in long-sleeved shirts and sweaters, but today I wore a short-sleeved sweater and I realized how dry my arms and elbows are :<
I don’t buy moisturizer anymore because an overzealous bf (ahem) bought me tons of Victoria’s Secret Love Spell lotion because he really loved the scent. I like it too but it doesn’t really cut it for deep moisturizing, so now I’m on the hunt for a lovely cream/lotion/souffle/body oil.
For scent-free moisturizing, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream popped up on my radar. It promises to be “for anyone with severely dry, scaly skin due to harsh winter weather… or any of the following conditions: atopic dermatitis, irritant eczema, allergic eczema, and keratosis pilaris.” Although I try to stay skeptical when reading product descriptions like this, as someone who has three of the above-mentioned conditions I can’t help but feel all starry-eyed reading it.
But because they’re also highly-rated and also allegedly excellent for dry skin and eczema (yet much cheaper), in the interest of saving money where I can I’m going to try Eucerin products first .___.
